BlueOptics AXC7605-10000S-BO InfiniBand vláknový kábel 5 m SFP+ konektor samec konektor samec

The BlueOptics AXC7605-10000S-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 5 m active optical cable (AOC) with SFP+ male connectors on both ends. Designed for 10GBASE-SR class multimode transmission, the cable integrates a transmitter and receiver on each end to convert electrical signals to optical signals and back, enabling reliable high-speed links between compatible SFP+ ports. Its construction follows MSA-compatible SFP+ form-factor requirements and is intended for use in data centres, network racks and server environments that require low-latency, high-bandwidth interconnects.

Advantages

The cable delivers 10 Gbps link rates over multimode fibre across a 5 m distance while maintaining low latency and consistent signal integrity. Being an active optical cable with integrated transceivers reduces the need for separate SFP+ modules and shortens installation time. Compatibility with devices that accept SFP+ AOCs simplifies inventory and deployment in environments that support the Netgear AXC7605-10000S reference product. The lightweight fibre design reduces cable bulk and improves airflow in dense rack installations.

How to use

Ensure both devices have SFP+ ports that support AOC connections and that the networking equipment firmware or vendor compatibility notes list support for MSA-compliant SFP+ AOCs. Power down or follow hot-plug guidance from your hardware vendor, then insert each SFP+ connector into the respective port until it latches. Verify link status and speed on both devices and configure interface parameters as required by your network or storage setup. When removing the cable, depress the latch mechanism and pull the connector straight out to avoid damaging the port.

Recommendations

Use this BlueOptics 5 m AOC for short, high-speed links inside racks or between adjacent racks. Maintain bend radii consistent with multimode fibre handling guidelines, avoid tight loops, and keep transceiver areas free of dust. Confirm device compatibility with MSA-compliant SFP+ AOCs to ensure full functionality and monitor link state after installation.
