BlueOptics AXC7615-10000S-BO InfiniBand vláknový kábel 15m SFP+ konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics AXC7615-10000S-BO InfiniBand Fibre Optic Cable 15m SFP+ Male/Male is a 15-metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP+ connectors designed for short-range high-speed links. It implements 10GBASE-SR type optical transmission over multimode fiber with integrated transmitter and receiver modules on each end. The pre-assembled AOC removes the need for separate transceivers and patch cords, offering a compact SFP+ to SFP+ connection that is compatible with hardware platforms supporting the equivalent original module.

Advantages

This Active Optical Cable provides stable 10 Gbps transmission over 15 metres with immunity to electromagnetic interference and low latency inherent to fiber optics. Built to MSA SFP+ standards, it includes digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM/DOM) for real-time parameters such as supply voltage, laser bias current, transmit power, receive power and temperature. The all-in-one cable design simplifies installation and reduces points of failure compared with discrete transceivers and patch cords.

How to use

Insert each SFP+ connector into the appropriate SFP+ port on your devices until the connector latches. Ensure both devices support 10GBASE-SR or compatible SFP+ AOC modules and that the ports are enabled in device firmware. If the devices support DDM/DOM, monitor the diagnostics via the network equipment management interface to verify optical link parameters and operating temperature. No additional transceivers or patch cables are required; handle the cable by the connectors and avoid tight bends near the cable ends.

Recommendations

Verify compatibility with the specific switch, router or storage platform before deployment. Use gentle bend radii and proper rack management to avoid excess stress on connectors. If DDM/DOM data is required, confirm the host hardware exposes diagnostic readings. For reliable long-term operation, avoid environments with extreme temperature cycles or physical strain on the cable assembly.
