BlueOptics CBL-415-BO InfiniBand sklenené vlákno kábel 15 m QSFP

The BlueOptics CBL-415-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 15 m QSFP is a multimode optical cable designed for high-speed data transmission in rack, server and network switch environments. The cable has QSFP male-to-male connectors and a 15 metre length that provides flexibility for connecting InfiniBand equipment across short to medium distances within data centres or server rooms. It is intended for use where low-latency, high-bandwidth links are required between compatible ports.

Advantages

This InfiniBand fibre optic cable offers predictable signal integrity and consistent performance over its 15 m length. The QSFP connector interface supports compact ports and high port density while ensuring secure mating. Multimode fibre construction reduces insertion loss and is suitable for typical data centre distances. The cable’s designed connector polarity and robust termination help maintain reliable connections under normal installation conditions.

How to use

Verify compatibility of the QSFP ports on both devices before installation. Route the 15 m fibre cable following standard cable management practices to avoid tight bends and excessive tension. Align the QSFP connectors and insert them until they latch; confirm a secure connection by checking link status indicators on the connected devices. When removing, release the connector latches and pull straight to avoid stressing the fibre. Follow any additional handling instructions from the equipment vendor to protect transceivers and ports.

Recommendations

Store and handle the fibre cable in a clean environment, avoid kinking and maintain minimum bend radius as per multimode fibre specifications. Use proper ESD precautions when connecting to active equipment and verify link negotiation and performance after installation.
