CBO AOC QSFP 40G aktívny optický kábel 2 m AOC-QSFP-40G-2M

CBO AOC QSFP 40G active optical cable 2 m AOC-QSFP-40G-2M is a 2-meter QSFP-to-QSFP active optical cable designed for short-reach 40 Gbps links. The cable provides a direct-attach solution for high-density environments, enabling low-latency, power-efficient interconnection between switches, routers and storage systems. Its plug-and-play operation reduces installation time and cabling complexity in data centers and server rooms.

Advantages

The active optical design offers lower power consumption and reduced heat generation compared with equivalent copper direct-attach assemblies, while providing electrical isolation and consistent signal integrity over the 2 m distance. The QSFP connector interface supports standard 40 Gbps lanes, enabling interoperability with compliant network equipment. Its slim, flexible jacket simplifies routing in high-density racks and helps maintain airflow.

Suitable for

• Top-of-rack and spine-switch interconnects in data centers
• Direct connections between servers and switches
• High-speed storage array links
• Low-latency clustering and HPC interconnects

Key specifications

• Data rate: 40 Gbps aggregate
• Connector type: QSFP to QSFP
• Cable length: 2 meters
• Cable type: Active optical cable (AOC)
• Typical use: Short-reach, high-density interconnects
• Form factor: Compact, flexible jacket suitable for rack installations

How to use

Insert each QSFP connector into the corresponding QSFP port on network equipment until the latch engages. No additional configuration or transceiver settings are required for plug-and-play compatibility with compliant 40 Gbps ports. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges, and ensure proper strain relief at connection points. If equipment supports port diagnostics, verify link status and speed after connection.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, avoid bending the cable beyond the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius, keep the connectors free of dust and debris, and install the cable in rack pathways that allow adequate airflow. Use this AOC for short-reach links within the same rack or adjacent racks to maximize performance and minimize latency.
