CBO InfiniBand aktívny optický kábel JNP-10G-AOC-20M-BO 20 m SFP+ aqua

The CBO InfiniBand Active Optical Cable JNP-10G-AOC-20M-BO is a 20 m SFP+ Aqua AOC designed for high-speed links between SFP+ ports in switches, servers and storage systems. This Active Optical Cable supports InfiniBand-compatible connections and is intended to provide low-latency data transmission with electrical isolation over a longer reach than traditional copper direct-attach cables. The aqua jacket marks it for easy identification in dense cabling environments and helps simplify cable management in data centers and server rooms.

Advantages

This active optical cable offers extended reach of 20 meters while maintaining SFP+ performance characteristics, reducing electromagnetic interference and providing galvanic isolation between devices. The lightweight fiber construction improves airflow and rack organization compared with heavier copper assemblies, and the plug-and-play SFP+ form factor enables straightforward installation without additional transceivers. The aqua-colored sheath enhances visual tracing and asset identification in multi-cable installations.

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on the network devices until the latch engages. Ensure devices are powered on and configured to recognize SFP+ links; most modern switches and servers detect Active Optical Cables automatically. Route the aqua cable through racks and cable management channels to avoid sharp bends; maintain minimum bend radius as recommended by the hardware vendor. For best results, verify link status and speed in device management interfaces after installation.

Recommendations

Use the cable within recommended operating temperature and humidity ranges of your equipment, avoid excessive bending or compressing of the fiber jacket, and label both ends for easy identification. For deployments in multi-vendor environments, confirm compatibility of SFP+ ports with active optical assemblies and check firmware/driver notes of your switches or host adapters if link negotiation issues arise.
