DAC kábel CBO 2 m pasívny medený SFP28-DAC-2M pre SFP28 porty, 2 metre

BlueOptics DAC cable SFP28-DAC-2M is a 2-meter passive copper direct-attach cable engineered for SFP28 ports. The cable provides a fixed, low-latency physical link for short-reach connections and supports 25 Gbps data rates for high-speed interfaces. Designed for environments where low cost, minimal power consumption and straightforward installation are priorities, this DAC cable connects compatible SFP28 ports on servers, switches and other network devices without the need for transceivers or external power.

Advantages

The passive copper design delivers low latency and consistent signal integrity for short-distance links while eliminating the need for separate optical transceivers, reducing overall system power and component cost. Its factory-terminated SFP28 connectors ensure reliable mechanical fit and simplified installation. The fixed 2 m length reduces excess cabling in rack environments and helps maintain tidy, predictable cabling paths.

Suitable for

• Server-to-switch connections in data center racks
• Switch-to-switch links within the same rack or adjacent racks
• Top-of-rack connectivity and short-reach uplinks
• Environments requiring low-power, cost-effective 25Gbps connections

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 direct-attach fixed connectors
• Cable medium: passive copper twinax
• Data rate: supports 25 Gbps per link
• Length: 2 meters
• Latency: low, suitable for short-reach links
• Installation: factory-terminated plug-and-play

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on the network devices until the latch engages. Verify that both devices recognize the physical link and that the interface reports a 25 Gbps connection. No additional configuration is typically required beyond enabling or configuring the network interface in the host or switch operating system. For safe removal, disable or administratively shut down the interface if necessary, press the connector latch and gently withdraw the plug.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short-reach connections within racks or between adjacent racks; avoid using passive copper DACs for longer spans beyond their intended distance. Maintain bend radius guidelines, avoid excessive tension on the cable, and keep connectors free from dust and contaminants to ensure reliable link performance.
