DAC kábel CBO SFP28-DAC-3M 3 m kompatibilný s QNAP SFP28 Direct-Attach medený kábel

BlueOptics CBO SFP28-DAC-3M is a 3-meter direct-attach copper (DAC) cable compatible with QNAP SFP28 ports, intended for short-reach 25GbE connections. The passive copper assembly eliminates the need for separate transceivers, enabling a compact and cost-efficient physical link between switches, servers and storage appliances. The cable is designed for low-latency, high-density rack environments and simplifies top-of-rack and server-to-switch cabling.

Advantages

The CBO SFP28-DAC-3M offers plug-and-play connectivity with low electrical latency and stable signal integrity over its 3 m copper length. As a passive DAC, it reduces component count and power consumption compared with active optical assemblies and transceiver-based solutions. Its fixed length and integrated connectors provide consistent performance for short-distance 25GbE links and streamline installation in data centers and network racks.

Suitable for

• Top-of-rack switch to server 25GbE connections
• Server-to-storage interconnects in rack environments
• High-density switch-to-switch links within the same equipment room
• Short-reach connections in data center and lab setups

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 direct-attach copper
• Cable length: 3 m
• Supported link speed: 25 Gigabit Ethernet (25GbE)
• Cable medium: Passive copper twinax
• Typical use case: Short-reach, low-latency interconnects
• Compatibility: Designed for SFP28 ports on compatible QNAP equipment

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 cage on the devices to be linked, ensuring the latch engages. No additional transceivers, configuration or power source is required for the passive cable; link settings are handled by the connected devices. After physical installation, verify link status and negotiated speed on both endpoints and adjust interface settings in the device management interfaces if necessary.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use the cable within its 3 m range and avoid kinking or tight bends. Install within the same rack or adjacent racks to stay within the intended short-reach use. Confirm firmware and driver compatibility of connected QNAP devices and check port settings to ensure a stable 25GbE link.
