BlueOptics H-SFP+AOC1M-BO InfiniBand optický kábel 1 m aqua

The BlueOptics H-SFP+AOC1M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 1 m Aqua is an active optical cable (AOC) with SFP+ connectors on both ends designed for short-reach, high-speed connections. With a 1 metre length and aqua jacket, this AOC implements 10GBASE-SR class signalling over multimode fibre and provides a pre-terminated, plug-and-play link between compatible SFP+ ports. The cable integrates optical transmitter and receiver modules in the SFP+ housings to transfer optical signals while following MSA physical interface conventions.

Advantages

This 1 m AOC offers low-latency, high-bandwidth connectivity suitable for dense rack environments where short cable runs are required. The integrated SFP+ modules remove the need for separate transceivers and fibre patch cords, simplifying installation and reducing connector loss points. The male-to-male SFP+ configuration ensures straightforward compatibility with devices that accept SFP+ modules, while the factory-terminated assembly reduces variation and potential field-termination errors.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics H-SFP+AOC1M-BO by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on your devices until the latch engages. Ensure both devices support SFP+ AOC modules and the 10GBASE-SR signalling used by the cable. No separate transceivers or patch cords are required; the cable is factory-terminated and ready for immediate operation after secure insertion and device configuration as needed.

Recommendations

Place the cable in short, unobstructed runs within racks to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress. Verify device compatibility with SFP+ AOC modules and update device firmware if vendor documentation suggests specific compatibility notes. For critical links, test the connection after installation to confirm expected throughput and link stability.
