BlueOptics InfiniBand/sklenené vlákno kábel 7 m SFP28 akvamarínová farba

The BlueOptics InfiniBand/fibre optic cable 7 m SFP28 Aqua colour is a 7-metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors on both ends. Designed for multimode fiber links, it supports 25G-class short-range optical transmission and fits industry-standard SFP28 ports. The cable is intended for high-speed data connections in data centres and networking racks where a pre-terminated, low-latency fibre link is required. The aqua-coloured jacket provides visual identification for cabling runs.

Advantages

This 7 m BlueOptics AOC provides a ready-made optical connection that eliminates the need for separate transceivers and patchcords, reducing insertion points and potential signal loss. As an SFP28-to-SFP28 active optical cable designed to the 25GBASE-SR4 profile and MSA conventions, it supports simultaneous transmit and receive functions over multimode fibre and is compatible with equipment that accepts SFP28 AOC modules. The cable’s factory-assembled design simplifies installation and helps maintain consistent optical performance across links.

Suitable for

• High-speed server-to-switch or switch-to-switch connections in data centres
• Storage system interconnects requiring short-range 25G links
• Network racks and top-of-rack deployments where pre-terminated fibre is preferred

Key specifications

• Length: 7 metres
• Connector type: SFP28 on both ends
• Optical type: Active Optical Cable (AOC) for multimode fibre
• Intended data rate class: 25G (25GBASE-SR4 profile)
• Jacket colour: aqua

How to use

Install the BlueOptics AOC by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your network devices until the connector latch engages. Ensure devices are powered and configured to recognise SFP28 AOC modules according to the host platform’s transceiver support documentation. Avoid tight bends and mechanical stress on the cable; route it within recommended bend radius limits and secure it to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Confirm that your switches, routers or storage systems officially support SFP28 AOCs and that the platform accepts 25G optical modules. Keep the connector endfaces and device ports free of dust and debris; store the cable in a dry, dust-free environment when not in use. For critical links, verify link status and any available diagnostics on the host equipment after installation.
