BlueOptics JNP-25G-AOC-15M-BO InfiniBand optický kábel SFP28 aqua 15 m konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics JNP-25G-AOC-15M-BO InfiniBand/fibre optic cable SFP28 Aqua 15m Male/Male is a 15-metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors on both ends. Designed for 25GBASE-SR4-compatible environments, the cable transmits optical signals over multi-mode fiber and provides a factory-integrated transmitter and receiver at each end. The aqua-coloured jacket makes the cable easy to identify in dense cabling environments while the 15 m length supports medium-distance interconnects between switches, routers, storage arrays and other compatible network equipment.

Advantages

This AOC supports high-speed data transmission up to 25 Gbit/s per channel in compatible systems and follows MSA-compliant SFP28 mechanical and electrical interfaces. As an active optical assembly it integrates optical transceivers, reducing the need for separate modules and fibre patch cords. The pre-terminated, fixed-length design removes field termination and simplifies deployment while the multi-mode construction is suitable for short to medium reach links in data centre and enterprise racks.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP28 AOC by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your network devices until the latching mechanism engages. Ensure devices are powered down or follow hot-plug guidelines of the hardware vendor where applicable. After physical installation, verify link status and interface parameters in the device management interface or CLI to confirm the 25G link is negotiated and functioning as expected.

Recommendations

Use this AOC in compatible hardware that supports SFP28 AOCs and 25GBASE-SR4 signalling. Avoid tight bends and protect the cable from crushing or excessive strain. For optimal performance in multi-vendor environments, confirm device compatibility and the supported transceiver/AOC requirements in the equipment documentation before deployment.
