BlueOptics JNP-40G-AOC-3M-BO InfiniBand optický kábel 3 m QSFP konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics JNP-40G-AOC-3M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 3m QSFP Male/Male is a 3-metre active optical cable designed for short-range, high-bandwidth connections between QSFP ports. It provides a direct QSFP-to-QSFP link using multimode fibre with integrated transmitter and receiver electronics, supporting up to 40 Gbit/s data rates for compatible networking and storage equipment.

Advantages

This 3 m Active Optical Cable (AOC) follows MSA QSFP standards and is engineered for reliable, low-latency links in data centre and high-performance computing environments. The integrated optical transceivers eliminate the need for separate SFP/optical modules and patch cords, reducing component count and simplifying installation. Its QSFP male-to-male configuration offers a compact, vendor-compatible solution for systems that officially support the corresponding Juniper JNP-40G-AOC-3M module.

How to use

Insert each QSFP connector into the corresponding QSFP port on the devices to be linked, ensuring the latch engages and ports are powered per device guidelines. The AOC is plug-and-play for systems that support the compatible 40G QSFP AOC; no external transceivers or fibre patch panels are required. Verify link status in your equipment management interface and confirm supported link speeds and protocols are enabled.

Recommendations

Use the cable within data centre or equipment environments that officially support the compatible Juniper JNP-40G-AOC-3M 40GBASE-SR4 AOC. Avoid tight bends and mechanical strain on the cable assembly; maintain recommended bend radius for multimode optical cables and route the cable to prevent interference with airflow and cooling paths.
