BlueOptics optický kábel SFP5142BU10MKB 10 m, G.657.A1, 4x SC na MPO, žltý

BlueOptics fibre optic cable SFP5142BU10MKB is a 10 m single-mode patch cable designed for InfiniBand and optical network connections. The cable uses G.657.A1 fibre and is terminated with four SC connectors on one end and an MPO connector on the other. A yellow LSZH jacket provides visual identification and is suitable for installation in racks and pathways where reduced-smoke, halogen-free materials are required.

Advantages

This BlueOptics cable supports single-mode links with the bend-insensitive properties of G.657.A1 fibre, helping to maintain signal integrity in confined routing spaces. The 4x SC to MPO termination simplifies migration between multi-fibre MPO trunks and individual SC ports, reducing the need for multiple adapters. The 10 m length offers flexibility for data centre patching and inter-rack connections while the yellow colour allows quick visual tracing of single-mode runs.

How to use

Route the cable through cable trays or raceways avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension. Insert the MPO connector into the corresponding MPO port and secure the 4x SC connectors into their respective SC sockets or adapter panel. Ensure connector dust caps are removed immediately before insertion and keep unused ends capped to prevent contamination. Verify link continuity and optical loss using appropriate testing equipment after installation.

Recommendations

When installing the BlueOptics SFP5142BU10MKB, maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for G.657.A1 fibre, clean connectors before mating, and use LSZH-compliant pathways where required by building regulations or site policy.
