BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-3M-CH-BO InfiniBand sklenené vlákno kábel 3 m konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-3M-CH-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 3-meter active optical cable with QSFP male connectors on both ends. It is designed for high-speed serial data transmission between network devices that support QSFP interfaces, providing a low-latency, electrically isolated connection suitable for data centre racks and high-performance computing clusters.

Advantages

This active optical cable delivers high bandwidth and signal integrity over a short reach without the need for separate transceivers. The QSFP male-to-male configuration ensures direct plug-in connectivity for compatible ports and reduces installation complexity. Its fibre optic construction provides immunity to electromagnetic interference and supports consistent data rates required for demanding applications.

Suitable for

• Interconnects between switches, routers and network adapters in data centres
• High-performance computing (HPC) node-to-node links
• Storage area network (SAN) connections requiring low latency
• Top-of-rack and end-of-row cabling in server racks

Key specifications

• Connector type: QSFP male to QSFP male
• Cable type: Active optical cable (AOC)
• Length: 3 meters
• Application: InfiniBand high-speed serial links
• Signal: Optical fibre transmission for EMI immunity

How to use

Insert each QSFP connector into compatible QSFP ports on the devices to be linked, ensuring the connector latch engages. Verify device settings and link status via network management interfaces or port LEDs. Because this is an active optical cable, no separate transceivers or fiber patching is required; treat the cable as a direct, hot-pluggable connection between QSFP-capable devices.

Recommendations

Handle the cable by the connector housings and avoid sharp bends; maintain manufacturer-recommended bend radii. Use in environments where QSFP port compatibility and InfiniBand protocol support are confirmed. For reliable operation, route the cable to prevent mechanical stress and keep connectors clean before insertion.
