BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-7M-BC-BO InfiniBand sklenené vlákno kábel 7 m konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-7M-BC-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 7m Male/Male is a 7-metre active optical cable designed for high-speed InfiniBand links. With QSFP connectors on both ends, the cable provides a single-cable solution for short-reach, high-bandwidth connections between switches, servers and network appliances. The active optical design reduces electromagnetic interference and allows for reliable data transmission in dense rack and data centre environments.

Advantages

This 7 m BlueOptics active optical cable supports high data throughput while maintaining low latency and consistent signal integrity. The QSFP male-to-male connectors ensure straightforward plug-and-play installation and broad compatibility with QSFP ports. The optical construction provides immunity to EMI, lighter weight than equivalent copper assemblies and improved thermal behaviour in confined spaces.

Suitable for

• Interconnects between InfiniBand switches and host adapters in data centres
• High-performance computing clusters requiring low-latency links
• Short-reach connections within server racks and between adjacent racks
• Network appliances and storage arrays with QSFP ports

Key specifications

• Cable type: Active optical cable (AOC)
• Connector type: QSFP (male) on both ends
• Length: 7 metres
• Protocol: InfiniBand-compatible high-speed transport
• Physical properties: Lightweight fibre construction with protective jacket
• Performance: Designed for multi-lane high-bandwidth links with low latency

How to use

Handle the cable by the connector housings and avoid tight bends along the fibre length. Align each QSFP connector with the corresponding port and insert until the latch engages; remove by depressing the release mechanism before withdrawal. Ensure both connected devices are powered and configured for InfiniBand operation and verify link status through the device management interface. Keep the cable pathway clear of sharp edges and avoid placing heavy objects on the cable to preserve optical performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, maintain bend radii above the manufacturer's minimum specification, route the cable away from high-heat sources and use appropriate port dust caps when the cable is not connected. Verify compatibility with device firmware and port transceiver settings prior to deployment in production environments.
