BlueOptics QSFP28 AOC 10m — 834972-B24 aktívny optický Direct-Attach kábel pre 100G pripojenie

The BlueOptics QSFP28 AOC 10m — 834972-B24 is an active optical cable designed for 100G connectivity over QSFP28 interfaces. At 10 metres length it provides optical transmission for short-to-medium reach links between switches, routers and servers in data center environments. The cable uses active optical components to deliver low latency and reduced signal loss compared with long copper assemblies, while offering hot-pluggable QSFP28 terminations for straightforward deployment.

Advantages

This active optical cable reduces electromagnetic interference and heat dissipation compared with equivalent copper direct-attach assemblies, enabling denser rack deployments. The QSFP28 connector provides a standardized interface for 100G ports, and the optical medium supports consistent link performance across the full 10 m distance. Plug-and-play compatibility simplifies installation and replacement in live network environments without additional configuration.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics QSFP28 AOC by inserting each QSFP28 connector into the corresponding 100G ports on your devices until the connector latches. No software configuration is required for basic link establishment; the connected devices will negotiate link parameters automatically. For optimal performance, route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain manufacturer-recommended minimum bend radius. Inspect connectors for contamination before connection and keep dust caps until ready to install.

Recommendations

Use this 10 m active optical cable in rack-to-rack or chassis-to-chassis connections inside controlled data centre environments. For best results, verify compatibility with your switch or host vendor’s supported QSFP28 optics and follow vendor guidance for firmware or transceiver settings when applicable.
