SFP+ aktívny optický kábel CBO 10GE-SFPP-AOC-0701 10Gbps, 7 m

The BlueOptics SFP+ Active Optical Cable CBO 10GE-SFPP-AOC-0701 is a factory-terminated 7-meter direct-attach cable that supports 10Gbps line rate for compatible SFP+ ports. It integrates active optical transceivers at both ends, providing a single-cable solution for short-range high-speed links between switches, servers and storage devices. By replacing separate transceivers and fiber patch cords, this AOC reduces rack cabling complexity and simplifies installation while maintaining a full 10Gbps connection over a 7 m reach.

Advantages

This BlueOptics AOC delivers a consistent 10Gbps data transfer rate and a fixed 7 m reach, offering predictable performance for short interconnects. Its integrated optical transceivers remove the need to purchase and match separate SFP+ modules and patch fibers, which can lower deployment time and minimize points of failure in the cabling system. The single-cable form factor simplifies cable routing in dense rack environments and is compatible with devices that accept standard SFP+ AOC links.

Suitable for

• Short-range 10GbE links between top-of-rack switches and aggregation switches
• Direct connectivity between servers and storage arrays within the same rack or row
• High-density cabling environments where simplified routing and reduced cable bulk are required

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP+ form factor (active optical cable)
• Data rate: 10 Gbps (line rate)
• Cable length: 7 meters
• Cable type: Active optical cable with integrated transceivers
• Typical application: Short-range 10 Gigabit Ethernet interconnects

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on the two devices to be connected. Ensure that both devices support SFP+ AOC modules and are powered down or have hot-swap capability per the device vendor instructions before insertion or removal. After seating the connectors, verify link status and negotiate the 10Gbps lane speed according to the equipment management interface. No separate fiber patch cords or transceivers are required.

Recommendations

Use the AOC for intra-rack or short-row links up to 7 m and avoid tight bending or kinking of the optical cable. Confirm device compatibility with SFP+ AOC modules in vendor documentation and monitor link health through switch or server management tools.
