BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-CI-BO InfiniBand optický kábel 15m konektor/konektor

The BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-CI-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 15m Male/Male is a 15-meter active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors on both ends designed for high-speed data transmission in data centers and networking environments. Built to MSA-compatible SFP28 form factor standards, this AOC integrates transmitter and receiver modules on each end and uses multimode fibre to support short-reach 25G links with low signal loss and consistent link quality across the 15 m length.

Advantages

This active optical cable provides a compact, plug-and-play SFP28-to-SFP28 connection that reduces the need for separate transceivers and patch cords, simplifying rack-to-rack and switch-to-switch interconnects. Its 15 m length covers common in-rack and adjacent-rack runs while the multimode design supports reliable 25G data rates for Ethernet, Fibre Channel over Ethernet and similar high-speed protocols. The unit is compatible with hardware platforms that accept SFP28 AOCs and follows industry mechanical and electrical interoperability expectations.

Suitable for

• Short-reach interconnects between switches, servers and storage in data centers
• High-speed 25G links for Ethernet and Fibre Channel over Ethernet
• Rerouting or replacing copper links where optical AOC durability and signal integrity are required

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 male to SFP28 male
• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (AOC) using multimode fibre
• Maximum supported data rate: 25 Gbps per channel
• Nominal cable length: 15 meters
• Form factor: SFP28 MSA-compatible

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-CI-BO by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your networking devices until the module latches. Ensure connected equipment is powered and configured for 25G operation as required by the link protocol. No additional transceivers or patch cords are necessary; the active cable provides both optical transmitter and receiver functionality. For best results, avoid tight bends and mechanical strain on the cable and secure any slack to prevent accidental disconnection.

Recommendations

Use this AOC for short-reach connections inside racks or between adjacent racks where a 15 m length is sufficient. Confirm device compatibility with SFP28 AOC modules and verify link settings (speed and protocol) on connected equipment before deployment. Handle the connectors with care and store the cable in a clean, dry environment when not in use.
