BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-LE-BO InfiniBand/optický kábel 15m konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-LE-BO InfiniBand/fibre optic cable 15m Male/Male is a 15-meter active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed short-reach links in data center and networking environments. The cable integrates transmitter and receiver modules on each end for optical signal transmission over multimode fiber and conforms to SFP28 MSA form factor and 25GBASE-SR4 compatible operation. It is intended for use where reliable, low-latency 25 Gbps connections are required between switches, routers, servers and storage systems that support SFP28 AOC modules.

Advantages

The cable provides a stable, low-latency optical link with integrated transceivers, eliminating the need for separate optical transceivers and patch cords. Its 15 m length supports flexible rack-to-rack and row-to-row connections in server rooms and data centers while keeping signal quality consistent across multimode fiber. Compatibility with SFP28 ports and support for 25GBASE-SR4 class applications make it suitable for a range of Ethernet and Fibre Channel over Ethernet deployments.

Suitable for

• Rack-to-rack and row-to-row 25 Gbps connections in data centers
• High-speed links between switches, routers, servers and storage systems
• Short-reach InfiniBand or Ethernet interconnects using SFP28 ports
• Environments requiring low-latency, high-throughput multimode fiber connections

Key specifications

• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (AOC) with integrated transmitter and receiver modules
• Connector type: SFP28 to SFP28 (male/male)
• Supported data rate: up to 25 Gbps per lane (25G class)
• Length: 15 meters
• Fiber: multimode fiber for short-reach transmission
• Form factor compliance: SFP28 MSA compatible

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-LE-BO by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your network devices until the connector latches. Ensure that devices are powered down or follow hot-plugging guidance from the equipment manufacturer before insertion or removal. After connection, verify link status and speed via the device management interface. The integrated transceivers are plug-and-play when used with hardware that supports SFP28 AOC modules.

Recommendations

Use this AOC for short-reach multimode links within a single data center or server room. Avoid tight bends and excessive tension on the cable to preserve optical performance. Confirm device compatibility with SFP28 AOC modules and 25GBASE-SR4 class operation before deployment to ensure optimal interoperability.
