BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-LO-BO SFP28 aktívny optický kábel, 25 m, samec-samec, mätová

BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-LO-BO is an active optical cable with SFP28 connectors on both ends and a cable length of 25 m. Designed for short-reach, high-speed links, this mint-coloured AOC is lightweight (0.15 kg) and intended for use in server racks, switches and storage arrays where low-latency, high-bandwidth connections are required. The cable implements active optics with integrated transmitter and receiver modules to carry optical signals over multimode fiber and conforms to SFP28 physical interface requirements for 25G-class applications.

Advantages

The BlueOptics SFP28 active optical cable reduces electrical interference and space usage compared with copper alternatives while maintaining high-speed connectivity. Its 25 m length supports flexible rack-to-rack or chassis-to-chassis placements without intermediate transceivers, and the integrated SFP28 connectors simplify installation and replacement. The lightweight mint-coloured jacket aids identification in dense cabling environments.

Suitable for

• 25G network uplinks between switches and routers
• Connections between servers and top-of-rack switches in data centers
• High-bandwidth links for storage arrays and SAN fabrics

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connector type: SFP28 to SFP28
• Nominal data rate class: 25 Gbit/s class (SFP28 interface)
• Weight: 0.15 kg
• Product colour: mint

How to use

Ensure both endpoints support SFP28 AOC modules and are powered off or allow hot-swap per device documentation. Align each SFP28 connector with the host port and insert until the latch engages. Verify link status in the host equipment management interface and confirm negotiated speed. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it to rack infrastructure to prevent strain on connectors. Follow equipment vendor guidance for hot-plugging and port configuration.

Recommendations

Store and install the cable in environments within the host equipment’s specified temperature and humidity ranges. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors, and use cable management in rack environments to maintain minimum bend radius. For optimal performance, confirm compatibility with the transceiver and switch vendor; test links after installation and monitor link statistics for errors or changes in signal quality.
