BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-MR-BO SFP28 aktívny optický kábel, 25 m, mätová

BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-MR-BO is an active optical cable with SFP28 connectors on both ends and a 25 m length. Designed for high-speed links in data centres, switches and servers, the cable uses active optics to transmit signals over multimode fiber while offering a lightweight construction (0.15 kg) and a mint-coloured jacket for straightforward cable management and visual identification.

Advantages

The SFP28 active optical cable provides a compact, low-weight connection that reduces clutter in racks and improves airflow. With SFP28 connectivity it supports 25 Gbit/s link rates in environments that use SFP28 ports. The mint-coloured jacket helps identify and separate this run from others during installation and maintenance. The integrated transmitter and receiver at each end eliminate the need for separate transceiver modules, simplifying deployment where SFP28-AOC compatibility is required.

Suitable for

• Short-reach 25 Gbit/s connections between switches and top-of-rack servers
• High-density data centre interconnects where lightweight cabling is preferred
• Environments requiring easy visual cable identification and management

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connectors: SFP28 to SFP28
• Data rate: 25 Gbit/s
• Weight: 0.15 kg
• Jacket colour: mint

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-MR-BO by inserting each SFP28 connector into compatible SFP28 ports on your network devices, ensuring correct alignment and that devices are powered down or follow hot-plug procedures recommended by the equipment vendor. Verify link status indicators on both ends after connection. No separate transceivers or fibre patching are required because the active optical cable integrates the optical transmitter and receiver within the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this active optical cable in short-reach links up to 25 m in data centre and server-rack environments. Avoid sharp bends and maintain minimum bend radius specified by the manufacturer. Keep connectors covered when not in use to protect optical interfaces and follow equipment vendor guidance for hot-plugging and firmware compatibility.
