BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-NA-BO SFP28 aktívny optický kábel, 25 m, konektor samec-konektor samec, mätovo zelený

BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-NA-BO is an active optical cable with SFP28 connectors on both ends and a 25 m length. Designed for high-speed links in data centres and server rooms, this male-to-male AOC provides a lightweight (0.15 kg) multi-mode fibre connection with a mint-coloured jacket. It is intended for use where SFP28 interfaces and short-to-medium reach optical interconnects are required.

Advantages

This active optical cable integrates a transmitter and receiver in each connector to convert electrical signals to optical and back, enabling reliable 25 Gbit/s data transmission over a 25 m multi-mode fibre link. The SFP28 form factor ensures compatibility with equipment supporting SFP28 ports and MSA-compliant modules. Its low weight and flexible jacket simplify cable routing in dense rack environments, and the mint colour aids visual identification among other cables.

Suitable for

• Server-to-switch uplinks using SFP28 ports
• Short-to-medium data centre interconnects up to 25 m
• High-speed Ethernet or Fibre Channel over Ethernet links requiring 25 Gbit/s
• Environments where lightweight, compact optical cabling is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connector type: SFP28 to SFP28 (male-to-male)
• Data rate support: up to 25 Gbit/s
• Cable type: active optical cable (AOC) with integrated Tx/Rx
• Weight: 0.15 kg
• Jacket colour: mint

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-NA-BO by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your network devices until the connector latch engages. Ensure both endpoints support SFP28 interfaces and the intended 25 Gbit/s transmission protocol. Route the cable to avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and keep it clear of sharp edges and heat sources. No additional transceivers or patch cords are required when both devices accept SFP28 AOC modules.

Recommendations

Verify device compatibility with SFP28 active optical cables and confirm supported link speeds and protocols in the equipment documentation. Maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the manufacturer, and avoid pulling the cable by the cable jacket near the connector to prevent damage. For identification in dense cable bundles, use the mint-coloured jacket as a visual guide during installation and maintenance.
