Cambium Wallplate Dual-Funk WiFi 6 AP, 2x2, 3xGbE, BLE, Zigbee (XV2-22H0A00-EU)

The Cambium Wallplate Dual radio WiFi 6 AP is a compact ceiling- or wall-mounted wireless access point designed for environments that require modern WiFi 6 performance with integrated low-power wireless services. This dual‑radio 2x2 device provides simultaneous client capacity and improved spectral efficiency while offering three gigabit Ethernet ports for flexible wired connections. Integrated Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Zigbee radios enable device discovery and smart‑building integration without separate gateways. The unit targets secure, high‑quality wireless coverage in hospitality rooms, classrooms, small offices and multi-dwelling units.

Advantages

The AP supports WiFi 6 features such as higher throughput per client, better handling of multiple connected devices and improved power efficiency for client devices. Dual radios allow concurrent 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz operation to balance legacy device compatibility and high-speed connections. Having three gigabit Ethernet ports simplifies deployment by enabling uplink plus local wired endpoints from a single wallplate. Built‑in BLE and Zigbee expand the access point's role into asset tracking, proximity services and IoT integration without additional radio hardware. The device includes enterprise-grade security capabilities and is designed for unobtrusive mounting in rooms or corridors.

Suitable for

• Hotel guest rooms and corridors
• Education facilities: classrooms and small lecture rooms
• Small and medium-sized office spaces
• Multi-dwelling units and serviced apartments
• Smart building deployments with BLE and Zigbee sensors

Key specifications

• WiFi generation: WiFi 6 (802.11ax)
• Radio configuration: Dual radio, 2x2 MIMO
• Ethernet ports: Three 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports
• Integrated radios: Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Zigbee
• Mounting: Wallplate or ceiling flush mount form factor
• Security: Enterprise-class wireless security and encryption support
• Coverage: Designed for room-level and corridor coverage in indoor environments

How to use

Mount the access point in the desired wallplate or ceiling position using the provided mounting hardware and connect power and network via the Ethernet uplink. Configure network settings, SSIDs, security policies and radio parameters through the Cambium management interface or compatible controller solution according to site requirements. Use the additional Ethernet ports to attach local wired devices such as IP phones or set‑top boxes. Enable and configure BLE and Zigbee functions for asset tracking, location services or integration with building automation systems as required.

Recommendations

Place the unit centrally within the coverage area for best performance, avoid large metallic obstructions near the antennas, and ensure the uplink switch provides sufficient power (PoE) and bandwidth. For multi-room or multi-floor deployments, plan channel allocation and capacity based on expected client density and enable WiFi 6 features selectively to balance throughput and device compatibility.
