Cinch konektor ShiverPeaks 51400-WG — biele puzdro, pozlátené kontakty

The ShiverPeaks RCA (Cinch) plug 51400-WG features a white housing with gold-plated contacts designed for analog audio and video cable terminations. This connector provides standard RCA signal coupling and corrosion-resistant contact surfaces suitable for both repair and assembly of AV cables. It is compatible with common coaxial and twin-lead audio/video cable types and intended for straightforward installation in home audio systems, consumer AV equipment and professional A/V setups requiring reliable analog signal transfer.

Advantages

Gold-plated contacts reduce oxidation and help maintain consistent electrical conductivity over time, while the white housing offers clear visual identification and a clean appearance for panel- or cable-mounted connections. The connector is engineered to provide secure mechanical engagement and predictable signal performance for composite video, stereo audio, and other RCA-terminated analog signals.

Suitable for

• Repairing or replacing damaged RCA terminations on audio and video cables
• Building custom AV cables for home theaters and hi-fi systems
• Connecting consumer electronics such as DVD/Blu-ray players, TVs and amplifiers
• Professional A/V installations and patch panels where analog RCA connections are used

Key specifications

• Connector type: RCA (Cinch) male plug
• Housing color: white
• Contact finish: gold-plated for corrosion resistance
• Signal: analog audio and composite video
• Mounting: cable termination with solder or crimp contact options (depending on assembly design)

How to use

Strip the cable jacket and inner conductor according to the plug's assembly requirements, insert the conductors into the appropriate contact points and secure them following the connector's specified method (solder or crimp). Ensure the shielding is properly connected to the outer shell if required for grounding and that the housing is closed or fixed to provide strain relief. After assembly, test continuity and signal integrity with the connected equipment before final installation.

Recommendations

For optimal long-term performance, avoid exposure to corrosive environments and periodically inspect contacts for signs of wear or contamination. Use appropriate soldering techniques and flux compatible with gold-plated surfaces, or a recommended crimp tool if the connector variant supports crimp termination. Match cable impedance and conductor size to the intended audio/video application to maintain signal quality.
