DRAKA UC900SS23/1 PE Cat.7 S/FTP vonkajší kábel pre priame uloženie do zeme, 4000m bubon, čierny

Network installers laying long-haul outdoor links need a cable that shrugs off moisture, UV, and mechanical stress. The DRAKA UC900SS23/1 PE Cat.7 S/FTP cable comes on a 4000-metre drum, ready for direct burial or conduit runs between buildings, across campuses, or along industrial perimeters. Its solid bare copper conductors and double shielding keep 10-Gigabit signals clean even in electrically noisy environments.

Key specifications

• Category 7 S/FTP (Screened/Foiled Twisted Pair), 4 pairs
• Solid bare copper conductors, AWG 23/1
• Overall tinned copper braid + per-pair aluminium foil shielding
• PE (polyethylene) jacket, black, UV and moisture resistant
• Frequency range up to 600 MHz, supports 10GBASE-T
• Characteristic impedance 100 ± 5 Ohm
• Outer diameter approx. 7.8 mm
• Operating temperature -50°C to +70°C, installation -20°C to +60°C
• Minimum bending radius: 8x OD during installation, 4x OD in operation
• PoE support: IEEE 802.3af/at/bt (PoE, PoE+, PoE++)
• Standards: ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173, TIA/EIA-568-C.2
• Drum length: 4000 m

Why choose it

This cable is built for the toughest outdoor conditions. The PE jacket withstands direct burial, sunlight, and temperature extremes, while the dual shielding (foil per pair plus overall braid) provides excellent alien crosstalk resistance. Solid copper conductors ensure reliable performance over long distances and full PoE++ power delivery up to 100 W. With a 4000-metre drum, you can pull multiple runs without mid-span splices, reducing installation time and potential failure points.

Ideal use cases

• Direct burial between buildings on a campus or industrial site
• Outdoor backbone links for IP surveillance or Wi-Fi access points
• Long horizontal runs in harsh environments (factories, warehouses)
• PoE-powered devices at distance, such as PTZ cameras or access control
• Conduit installations where moisture and temperature swings are expected

Good to know

The cable is supplied on a 4000-metre drum, allowing custom cut lengths. It meets Cat.7 specifications for 600 MHz bandwidth, future-proofing your network for 10-Gigabit Ethernet. Always follow the minimum bending radius guidelines to avoid damaging the shielding. For direct burial, ensure the trench is free of sharp stones and use appropriate backfill. The black PE jacket is not flame-retardant, so use indoor-rated cable for riser or plenum spaces.
