Ethernetový kábel ProXtend CAT5e RJ-45 0,5m zelený

The ProXtend CAT5e U/UTP Ethernet Cable (0.5 m) with RJ-45 connectors provides a compact wired connection option for local networks. It supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s, features U/UTP construction for reduced interference, and has gold-plated contacts for improved durability. The cable is available in a green jacket and includes strain relief and a snagless latch for connector protection.

Advantages

This ProXtend CAT5e cable combines a short 0.5 m length suitable for close-proximity connections with reinforced strain relief and snagless latch protection to reduce connector wear. The U/UTP design lowers electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded alternatives, and gold-plated RJ-45 contacts help maintain reliable signal transmission and corrosion resistance.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers within a rack or on a desk
• Patch connections in network cabinets and patch panels
• Cable runs where a short, visible colored cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Length: 0.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with U jacket)
• Data transfer rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Color: Green
• Weight: 0.034 kg

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices until the latch clicks. Use the 0.5 m length for short links between adjacent equipment such as a computer and a switch or between patch panel ports. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors to preserve the strain relief and maintain optimal signal quality.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference (large transformers, fluorescent ballasts). When routing in tight spaces, avoid tight bends and excessive tension to extend the lifetime of the connectors and cable.
