F konektor samec ShiverPeaks BS15-300714

The ShiverPeaks BS15-300714 F-type coaxial connector is a compact connector intended for reliable RF connections in audio and video systems. Supplied as a pack of two, each connector uses a standard F-type interface to join coaxial cables to devices such as set-top boxes, televisions, satellite receivers and cable modems. The design focuses on stable electrical contact and straightforward installation to support clear signal transmission in home theater and cable TV setups.

Advantages

These F-type coaxial connectors provide a consistent impedance match that helps reduce signal loss and maintain picture and sound quality. The connectors are easy to install without specialised tools, enabling quick replacement or extension of coaxial runs. Their compact form factor allows use in tight spaces behind equipment racks and wall outlets while providing a secure threaded connection that resists accidental loosening.

Suitable for

• Connecting coaxial cable to TVs, set-top boxes and satellite receivers
• Home theater and AV component installations
• Cable television and digital terrestrial antenna connections
• Minor repairs or replacements of existing coaxial cable terminations

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-type coaxial connector
• Pack quantity: 2 connectors per package
• Compatibility: standard 75 Ω coaxial cable systems
• Connection method: threaded F-type coupling for screw-on attachment
• Typical applications: RF signal transmission for audio/video and broadband

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket, braid and dielectric to expose the centre conductor and the appropriate length of braid according to the connector’s fit. Slide the connector onto the prepared cable end and engage the threaded coupling onto the mating device or adapter until hand-tight; avoid overtightening. Verify the centre conductor makes solid contact and that the braid is uniformly seated to ensure proper electrical continuity and shielding.

Recommendations

For optimal signal quality, use with properly prepared 75 Ω coaxial cable and avoid repeated bending near the connector. When installing in high-interference environments, ensure connectors and cable shielding are intact and maintain secure threaded connections to minimise ingress and signal degradation.
