Sieťový kábel Alcasa 1 m Cat6 S/FTP modrý

The Alcasa 1m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable in blue provides a shielded twisted-pair connection designed for short-distance links between network devices. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, the 1 m cable supports Cat6 performance while offering improved electromagnetic interference protection through S/FTP shielding. The compact length and standard connector format make it suitable for tidy desktop, patch-panel and rack connections where a reliable wired link is required.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding (overall shield plus individually shielded pairs) enhances resistance to external electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, helping to maintain signal integrity in environments with multiple cables or electronic equipment. Cat6-grade construction supports higher data rates and bandwidth than older cable categories for applications that demand stable wired performance. The RJ-45 terminations provide universal compatibility with switches, routers, network cards and patch panels. The 1 m length reduces excess cable slack and simplifies cable management while the blue outer jacket allows easy visual identification.

Suitable for

• Short horizontal links between patch panels and switches
• Connecting desktop PCs, printers or IP phones to nearby network ports
• Home and small office local area network (LAN) setups
• Clean rack or cabinet wiring where short patch leads are required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 1 m
• Colour: Blue
• Intended use: Ethernet/network data connections

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network port on your devices until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Use the cable for direct device-to-switch or patch-panel connections over distances up to 1 meter; avoid stretching the jacket or bending the cable sharply near the connectors to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. For installations involving metal racks or environments with strong EMI sources, ensure proper grounding of connected equipment to complement the cable's shielding.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the Alcasa Cat6 S/FTP cable in structured cabling runs as a patch or short interconnect. Keep bend radius greater than four times the cable diameter and avoid routing alongside high-voltage power lines. Replace any cable that shows visible damage to the jacket or connectors to maintain connection quality.
