Sieťový kábel Alcasa CAT6 S/FTP 25 m magenta

The Good Connections Alcasa CAT6 S/FTP 25 m Magenta is a 25-metre network cable designed for Cat6-grade wired Ethernet installations. It features S/FTP shielding (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs) to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity over longer runs. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors to plug directly into routers, switches, patch panels and network devices. The magenta outer jacket provides a distinct visual identifier for organized cabling in home or office environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding improves resistance to crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded cables, helping to maintain higher data throughput and more stable connections. The 25 m length covers typical room-to-room or rack-to-desk runs without intermediate splicing. RJ-45 terminations allow immediate use with standard Ethernet equipment. The colored jacket eases cable tracing and tidying in structured cabling systems or crowded network cabinets.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections between routers, switches and PCs
• Home networking and office desktop connections
• Patching between wall outlets and network equipment
• Structured cabling where visual cable identification is useful

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 performance for gigabit Ethernet
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall braid with foil-shielded twisted pairs
• Length: 25 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Outer jacket colour: magenta

How to use

Route the Alcasa CAT6 S/FTP cable between the two network points you intend to connect, avoiding tight bends and sharp edges that could damage the jacket or internal pairs. Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding LAN port on your router, switch, computer or patch panel until the latch clicks. For wall-plate or keystone installations, use appropriate patch cords or terminate the cable with compatible connectors if modification is required. Leave strain relief at termination points and avoid running the cable parallel to mains power cables for extended distances to minimize interference.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable within its specified length and handling limits; maintain bend radii recommended for Ethernet cables, and secure the cable in cable management systems to prevent mechanical stress. If installing in high-interference environments, ensure proper grounding of connected shielded equipment where applicable.
