Hama Prime M50CD-W skartovačka mikrostrih 68 dB 22 cm biela

The Hama Prime M50CD-W is a micro-cut paper shredder designed for secure destruction of confidential and sensitive documents in home and office environments. It accepts up to 5 sheets of DIN A4 (80 g/m²) at once and also destroys plastic cards and optical media (CDs/DVDs/Blu-rays) via a separate slot. The device meets DIN 66399 security level P-5 for GDPR-compliant disposal of personal data and produces extra-small shreds of 2 x 12 mm for a higher collection volume.

Advantages

This micro-cut shredder delivers high security with P-5 classification while remaining compact and suitable for desk use. The cutting unit is staple-safe and can process stapled documents without prior removal. Automatic Start/Stop and a reverse function make operation straightforward and help clear jams. Overheating protection switches the unit off automatically to prevent damage, and a safety mechanism prevents operation if the head is not correctly placed on the 13-litre collection basket.

Suitable for

• Secure disposal of confidential paper documents (personal data)
• Shredding of plastic cards (credit cards, ID cards)
• Destruction of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs
• Home office and small office shredding tasks

How to use

Place the shredder on a stable, level surface and insert the device head securely into the collection basket until the safety mechanism engages. Select On/Auto to begin automatic operation; the cutting rollers start when material is fed into the intake. Feed paper, plastic cards or discs into the appropriate slot—use the separate slot for CDs/DVDs/Blu-rays to avoid damage. If a jam occurs, use the Reverse function to release stuck material. After extended use the overheating protection will switch the unit off automatically; allow it to cool before resuming.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, do not exceed the stated shredding capacity (5 sheets) and avoid continuous operation beyond the manufacturer's duty cycle. Regularly empty the 13 L basket and follow the safety instructions in the user manual. Use the dedicated disc/card slot for optical media and plastic cards to maintain shredder performance.
