HDD/SSD puzdro UGREEN 70498 pre 2,5-palcové SATA disky, jeden slot, USB-C (USB 2.0/3.2 Gen2), hliník, až do 6 TB

UGREEN 70498 is a single-bay external enclosure for 2.5" SATA HDDs and SSDs in an aluminium housing. The enclosure accepts one 2.5" Serial ATA drive up to 6 TB and connects to host devices via a USB Type-C port, supporting USB 2.0 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 transfer modes. It is intended for quick expansion of external storage, backup tasks and portable data transfer between laptops, desktops and other USB-C equipped devices.

Advantages

The aluminium body provides heat dissipation and a compact, lightweight form factor suitable for travel. Support for USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds enables high-rate file transfers when used with compatible hosts and cables, while backward compatibility with USB 2.0 ensures broad device support. Tool-free installation and a single-bay layout simplify drive swapping and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Expanding external storage capacity for laptops and desktops
• Portable backup of documents, photos and video
• Transferring large files between USB-C devices
• Using an internal 2.5" SATA drive as an external archive or carry drive

Key specifications

• Supported drive format: 2.5" Serial ATA (SATA) HDD/SSD
• Maximum supported drive capacity: up to 6 TB
• Host interface: USB Type-C connector
• USB protocol support: USB 2.0 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 (also marketed as 3.1 Gen 2)
• Enclosure material: aluminium housing
• Drive bays: single-bay (one drive)

How to use

Open the enclosure and insert a compatible 2.5" SATA HDD or SSD, ensuring the drive connector aligns with the enclosure interface. Close the enclosure according to the product's fastening method. Connect the enclosure to a host device using a USB Type-C cable; if the host and cable support USB 3.2 Gen 2, the enclosure will operate at higher transfer rates, otherwise it will fall back to USB 2.0. The host operating system should detect the drive as an external storage device; format the drive if required before first use.

Recommendations

Use a high-quality USB Type-C cable rated for USB 3.2 Gen 2 to achieve maximum transfer speeds, and place the aluminium enclosure on a flat, ventilated surface during sustained transfers to aid heat dissipation. For long-term storage or archival use, ensure the drive is handled and stored according to the drive manufacturer's guidelines.
