InfiniBand/optický kábel BlueOptics A7873608-BO 50 m QSFP aqua

The BlueOptics A7873608-BO is a 50 m InfiniBand/fibre optic active optical cable (AOC) with QSFP to QSFP connectors and aqua color coding. Designed for high-speed multimode optical links, this cable supports 40 Gbps class short-reach applications and provides a pre-assembled, plug-and-play fibre connection for data centers, storage systems and network equipment that accept QSFP AOC modules.

Advantages

This 50 m BlueOptics AOC follows MSA QSFP mechanical and electrical conventions and incorporates transmitter and receiver electronics at each end to deliver optical signal conversion over multimode fibre. The aqua color makes cable identification and rack organisation easier. As an active optical cable, it removes the need for separate transceivers and patching, reduces susceptibility to electromagnetic interference, and enables simultaneous send/receive operation through the QSFP interface.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting QSFP ports in data center switches and routers
• High-speed server-to-switch and switch-to-switch links up to 50 m
• Storage area networks and fibre channel over Ethernet short-reach links

Key specifications

• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (AOC) with QSFP to QSFP connectors
• Length: 50 meters
• Connector form factor: QSFP (Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable)
• Supported link class: 40 Gbps class short-reach multimode optical links
• Fiber type: multimode fibre (pre-assembled AOC)
• Color coding: aqua
• Digital diagnostics: supports DDM/DOM monitoring when host hardware exposes the interface

How to use

Insert each QSFP plug into the corresponding QSFP port on the devices to be connected, ensuring proper seating and retention. Confirm that connected hardware supports QSFP AOCs and the targeted 40 Gbps link mode. If the host system provides digital diagnostics (DDM/DOM), enable or query the monitoring interface to read supply voltage, laser bias, optical transmit/receive power and temperature where supported. Avoid tight bends and protect the cable from sharp edges during installation to preserve optical performance.

Recommendations

Use this BlueOptics A7873608-BO 50 m QSFP AOC in short-reach multimode QSFP environments and verify compatibility with your specific switch, router or storage platform. Keep connectors clean and install the cable with gentle bend radii; check that the host device supports DDM/DOM if diagnostic monitoring is required.
