InfiniBand/optický kábel BlueOptics CAB-S-S-25G-5M 5 m SFP28 konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics CAB-S-S-25G-5M is a 5-meter InfiniBand/fibre optic cable with SFP28 male connectors on both ends, engineered for high-bandwidth, low-latency links. It supports 25G data rates and is intended for short to medium-distance interconnects inside racks and between adjacent racks in data centers. The cable's construction and SFP28 interfaces provide a compact, hot-pluggable connection compatible with devices that accept SFP28 transceivers.

Advantages

This BlueOptics fibre optic cable offers stable 25G transmission with minimal signal loss and low latency, suitable for demanding networking environments. The SFP28 male-to-male configuration ensures simple plug-and-play installation and compatibility with a wide range of switches, routers and servers that support SFP28 interfaces. The 5 m length provides flexibility for rack-to-rack connections while keeping cable management straightforward.

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP28 connector into compatible SFP28 ports on networking equipment until the connector clicks into place. Ensure both devices support 25G operation and that optics or port configuration is set for the correct interface type. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress, and secure it to cable management points to prevent strain on the connectors. If devices do not establish a link, verify port settings, firmware compatibility and confirm the cable orientation and seating.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short to medium-length high-speed links within racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid tight bends (adhere to the cable's minimum bend radius) and protect connectors from dust when not in use. Check compatibility with device transceiver requirements and firmware for reliable 25G operation.
