InfiniBand optický kábel GRAFENTHAL GTOM4MPOUMPOU00500 5m MPO OFC fialový

The GRAFENTHAL GTOM4MPOUMPOU00500 is a 5 m InfiniBand fibre optic cable built with OM4 multimode glass (OFC) for high-bandwidth data transmission. It includes MPO female connectors on both ends with UPC polish and a low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) jacket in violet, providing reliable connectivity for data centre and networking environments.

Advantages

This OM4 OFC cable offers high bandwidth and low attenuation for short- to medium-range links, consistent MPO-to-MPO connectivity with UPC-polished terminations, and an LSZH jacket that reduces toxic fumes in case of fire. The 5 m length balances flexibility and neat cable management in rack and cabinet installations.

Suitable for

• Data centre interconnects and server-to-switch links
• High-speed InfiniBand networking and cluster environments
• Patch panels and MPO trunking systems
• Short- to medium-range multimode fibre runs (up to several tens of metres depending on system)

How to use

Identify the MPO ports on your transceivers, patch panels or switch modules and align the MPO connector keying before insertion. Insert the MPO connector straight into the port until it clicks or seats fully, avoiding excessive bending of the fibre cable. For removal, depress the connector latch (if present) and pull the connector straight out. Store and route the cable using appropriate bend-radius guides and cable management to maintain optical performance.

Recommendations

Use this OM4 MPO-to-MPO cable for short- to medium-distance multimode links in controlled environments such as data centres. Avoid tight bends and excessive tensile loads, keep connector endfaces capped when not in use, and inspect/clean MPO endfaces with suitable fibre cleaning tools before mating to ensure optimal signal quality.
