The InLine® S-VGA extension with HD15 plug to HD15 socket is a professional solution for extending analog image signals between monitors, projectors and computers. It provides a reliable connection for devices with a VGA connection, especially in presentation environments, educational institutions and office installations.
The cable has three single-shielded coaxial lines for RGB signal transmission and seven additional data lines. Thanks to the double shielding - consisting of overall and individual shielding - and the integrated ferrite core, the signal is effectively protected against electromagnetic interference.
The 1:1 pin assignment without PIN 9 ensures standard-compliant and stable transmission. How to use

Connect the male 15-pin VGA connector of the extension cable to the VGA output on the computer or the existing VGA cable, and attach the female 15-pin connector to the monitor’s VGA plug or the monitor cable’s male end. Secure the connectors using the thumbscrews. Ensure both devices are powered off when connecting or disconnecting to avoid signal issues or wear on connectors.

Recommendations

For best results, route the cable away from large sources of electrical interference (power supplies, transformers or heavy machinery). If longer runs or higher resolutions are required, consider using a higher-specification VGA cable, an active signal booster, or a digital interface (DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort) where supported.
