Kábel z optických vlákien METZ CONNECT 151J1EOEO15E SC I-V(ZN) H 1,5 m aqua

The METZ CONNECT 151J1EOEO15E SC I-V(ZN) H is a 1.5 m fibre optic cable designed for duplex optical connections. It features SC connectors on both ends and an Aqua-coloured jacket. The cable construction follows the I-V(ZN) H standard and uses a 50 µm core diameter suitable for multimode transmission, providing a compact, flexible link for short-range high-speed data networks.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable offers stable full-duplex transmission with low signal loss across short to medium distances. The SC-to-SC connector pair enables straightforward mating with standard SC ports. The Aqua-coloured jacket improves visibility and identification within cable bundles or patch panels. The 1.5 m length provides a neat, manageable connection between network devices without excess slack.

Suitable for

• Patch panels and rack-mounted network equipment
• Server-to-switch or switch-to-switch short-range links
• Data center and telecommunication cabinet connections
• Multimode fibre networks requiring SC connectors

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1.5 m
• Cable type: I-V(ZN) H construction
• Connector type: SC to SC (full duplex)
• Core diameter: 50 µm (multimode)
• Colour: Aqua

How to use

Route the cable between the two SC-compatible ports, ensuring the connectors align with the equipment mating adapters. Insert each SC connector until a tactile click confirms engagement. Avoid tight bends and sharp kinks; maintain the manufacturer's recommended minimum bend radius for multimode fibre to prevent increased attenuation. When disconnecting, depress the connector latch and pull straight out without twisting.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable by the connector bodies to reduce strain on the fibre. For optimal performance, keep end faces clean and protected with dust caps when not in use; use proper fibre cleaning tools before mating. Select this 1.5 m SC–SC multimode cable when short, visible, and clearly colour-coded links are required in patching environments.
