Kábel z optických vlákien METZ CONNECT 151J1JOJO15E LC I-V(ZN) H 1,5 m aqua

The METZ CONNECT 151J1JOJO15E LC I-V(ZN) H 1.5 m Aqua is a 1.5 metre multimode fibre optic patch cable with LC-to-LC connectors and OM3-grade fibre. Designed for short to medium distance links in structured cabling, the cable provides full-duplex transmission over a 50 µm core and is intended for use in data centre, server room and enterprise network environments where reliable high-speed interconnects are required.

Advantages

The cable combines OM3 multimode fibre characteristics with compact LC connectors to deliver low insertion loss and consistent performance for 10 Gbps and lower multimode applications. Its I-V(ZN) H jacket construction offers mechanical protection and flexibility suitable for installation in cable trays, ducts and patch panels. The Aqua colour conforms to common industry colour coding for OM3, helping with quick identification in dense cable assemblies.

Suitable for

• Short-range multimode links in data centres and server rooms
• Patching between switches, transceivers and servers
• Structured cabling backbones and horizontal runs within buildings
• High-density rack environments with LC ports

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1.5 m
• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC
• Transmission: full duplex
• Jacket type: I-V(ZN) H
• Colour: Aqua

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before making connections; use a fibre inspection tool or lint-free wipes with appropriate cleaning fluid if required. Insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC port until it clicks, ensuring correct orientation and alignment for duplex operation. Avoid tight bends and maintain minimum bend radii specified for multimode fibre during routing. When disconnecting, depress the connector latch and withdraw straight to avoid damaging the ferrule or port.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the METZ CONNECT 1.5 m OM3 LC patch cable in environments consistent with multimode OM3 specifications and keep connectors protected with dust caps when not in use. Label both ends according to your rack or patching scheme and avoid repeated mechanical stress at connector boots to maintain long-term signal integrity.
