Koaxiálny konektor IEC ShiverPeaks BS82002-2SET

The ShiverPeaks BS82002-2SET contains two male IEC coaxial connectors designed for reliable connections in audio and video systems. These compact connectors provide a standard interface for coaxial cables, enabling consistent signal transmission for televisions, set-top boxes, radios, and other consumer electronics. The construction focuses on stable mechanical fit and electrical contact to reduce signal loss and ensure long-term usability.

Advantages

High-quality metal and insulating materials ensure durable electrical contact and mechanical stability. The male IEC coaxial design offers a secure fit with common female IEC sockets, minimizing accidental disconnections. Compact dimensions and straightforward assembly make these connectors suitable for tight spaces and easy cable replacement or repair. The twin set provides two identical connectors to outfit multiple devices or to keep a spare on hand.

Suitable for

• Connecting televisions and set-top boxes to coaxial cables
• Repairing or replacing coaxial connectors on audio/video equipment
• Home theater and AV installations requiring standard IEC connections
• DIY electronics and cable assembly projects involving coaxial cables

Key specifications

• Connector type: male IEC coaxial
• Set quantity: two identical connectors
• Contact material: metal contacts with insulating sleeve (material as supplied by manufacturer)
• Compatibility: standard IEC female coaxial sockets used in consumer AV equipment
• Mounting: panel or cable-end installation depending on application

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket and exposing the braid and centre conductor according to the connector's assembly instructions. Slide any necessary ferrules or insulators onto the cable, insert the centre conductor into the male pin, and secure the braid and outer conductor per the connector design. Mount or press the connector into the device socket to verify a snug fit. If unsure, consult device manuals or a technician to confirm correct polarity and mechanical installation.

Recommendations

Use the connectors in dry, indoor environments and avoid excessive bending or strain on the cable near the connector to preserve signal integrity. For critical installations, test signal continuity and shielding after assembly. Store unused connectors in a clean, dust-free place to prevent contamination of contacts.
