Konektor pre príves AS Schwabe 60464 — 13-kolíkový ťažný konektor pre kabeláž prívesu

The AS Schwabe Trailer Plug 60464 is a 13‑pole towing connector designed to establish a reliable electrical connection between a towing vehicle and a trailer. It supports the standardized 13 contacts for tail lights, brake lights, turn signals, reversing lights and auxiliary circuits commonly used in towing, caravan and trailer applications. The connector body and contact arrangement follow standard automotive dimensions to ensure compatibility with vehicles and trailers equipped for a 13‑pin interface.

Advantages

The 13‑pole design provides separate contacts for essential lighting functions and additional circuits, reducing the risk of overloaded circuits and enabling dedicated pathways for power and signals. The connector is engineered for straightforward installation and secure mating with corresponding sockets, ensuring stable electrical contact during normal driving conditions. Materials and contact spacing are chosen to meet typical automotive electrical and mechanical requirements for towing connectors.

How to use

Prepare the vehicle and trailer cables by stripping insulation to the recommended length and identifying each conductor according to the wiring scheme used for 13‑pole connectors. Insert and secure each conductor into the corresponding terminal in the plug, ensuring correct alignment of functions such as indicators, tail lights, brake lights and reverse light. After assembly, mate the plug with the trailer or vehicle socket until it clicks or seats fully to establish electrical contact. Inspect connections and verify all lighting and auxiliary functions operate correctly before towing.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect the plug and contacts for corrosion, dirt or loose connections. Use dielectric grease on contacts if operating in damp or corrosive environments and ensure cables are strain‑relieved to prevent terminal damage during towing.
