Konektor RJ-45 ShiverPeaks BS72057-GR-10 sivý

The ShiverPeaks BS72057-GR-10 Grey RJ-45 wire connector is designed for terminating Cat5e and Cat6 network cables. Supplied in packs of 10, each connector provides a compact, insulated housing and metal contacts intended to secure copper conductors and maintain signal integrity for Ethernet networks. The grey finish makes these connectors suitable for installations where visual uniformity or color-coding is required.

Advantages

These RJ-45 connectors offer a straightforward way to create reliable Ethernet terminations without specialized tooling beyond a standard crimping tool. The contacts are shaped to pierce conductor insulation and form a stable electrical connection, helping to preserve transmission performance for typical Cat5e and Cat6 applications. The pack size of ten ensures an adequate quantity for small installation or repair jobs.

Suitable for

• Terminating Cat5e network cables
• Terminating Cat6 network cables (where compatible)
• Repairs and small Ethernet installation projects
• Color-coded networking runs or visible cable management

Key specifications

• Connector type: 8P8C (commonly referred to as RJ-45)
• Compatible cable categories: Cat5e, Cat6
• Housing color: grey
• Contact material: metal contacts for insulation displacement connection
• Pack quantity: 10 connectors per pack
• Mounting/termination: crimp-style termination for stranded or solid conductors (check tool compatibility)

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping the outer sheath to expose the twisted pairs, then arrange the conductors according to the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B). Trim the wires evenly and insert them fully into the connector until the jacket seats correctly in the housing. Use an appropriate RJ-45 crimping tool to compress the connector and engage the contacts with the conductors. After crimping, verify the connection with a cable tester to confirm continuity and correct pair wiring.

Recommendations

Use a quality crimping tool designed for RJ-45 connectors and ensure the connector is appropriate for the cable type (stranded vs. solid). Test each terminated cable with a network tester before deployment. For installations requiring higher-frequency performance or shielded cables, verify connector compatibility with Cat6 specifications and shielded cable types.
