Lanview LVO231814 InfiniBand/optický kábel 2 m 2x SC 2x LC fialový

The Lanview LVO231814 is a 2 m OM4 multimode fibre optic patch cord with 2x SC and 2x LC connectors, designed for full-duplex high-speed data transmission. With a 50/125 µm core structure and LSZH jacket, this purple cable is suitable for modern and legacy network equipment and transceivers such as 10G SR, 40G BIDI SR, QSFP+ and SFP+, supporting 10/40/100 GbE links.

Advantages

OM4 multimode construction provides higher bandwidth and extended reach compared with lower multimode grades while remaining compatible with standard multimode transceivers. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and toxic emissions in case of fire, and the combination of SC and LC connectors offers flexible connectivity for different devices and patch panels. The 2 m length and lightweight design simplify cable management in rack and data centre installations.

Suitable for

• 10G SR and 40G BIDI SR Ethernet connections
• QSFP+ and SFP+ transceiver links
• Patch panels and cross-connects in data centres
• Short to medium multimode fibre runs in enterprise networks

How to use

Identify the required ports on your transceivers, switches or patch panels and plug the SC and LC connectors into the matching sockets, observing correct polarity for full-duplex links. Route the cable avoiding tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fibre. Verify link status and perform standard optical tests if needed to confirm signal quality and alignment with network requirements.

Recommendations

For best performance in 40G/100G environments, use OM4 patch cords with compatible multimode transceivers (10G SR, 40G BIDI SR, QSFP+, SFP+) and keep cable lengths within recommended distances for the chosen transceiver type. Store and handle the LSZH cable according to manufacturer guidance to preserve connector endface cleanliness and fibre integrity.
