Lanview LVO232550-100 InfiniBand/sklenené vlákno kábel 100 m žltý

The Lanview LVO232550-100 is a 100 m OS2 single-mode fibre optic cable with a 9 µm core diameter and yellow sheath. Mainly used as backbone cabling in data installations or for long-distance links where large bandwidth and low loss are required, this cable is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use; for outdoor installations it should be placed inside a conduit.

Advantages

This OS2 fibre offers low attenuation and stable single-mode transmission over long distances, reducing signal loss and interference. The 9 µm core provides compatibility with standard single-mode equipment, while the 100 m length and yellow jacket make it convenient for backbone runs and easy identification in structured cabling environments.

Suitable for

• Backbone cabling in data centres and server rooms
• Long-distance links between buildings or floors
• High-speed network infrastructure requiring single-mode fibres
• Indoor installations and outdoor runs when routed through conduit

How to use

Plan the route for the fibre cable according to your installation layout, keeping bends within the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. For outdoor sections, pull the cable through a suitable conduit to protect it from environmental exposure. Terminate each end with compatible single-mode connectors or patch panels, and verify links using an optical power meter or OTDR to ensure acceptable loss levels.

Recommendations

Use appropriate cable management and avoid tight bends or tensile stress during installation. For outdoor deployments always install the cable inside conduit and comply with local building codes and fibre handling best practices.
