Lindy 2,0 m OM3 LC - SC duplexný InfiniBand/optický kábel 2 m tyrkysový

The Lindy 2.0m OM3 LC - SC Duplex fibre optic cable is a 2.0 metre multimode link designed for high-speed data transmission in structured cabling and network equipment. Built with OM3 graded multimode fibre and a 50 µm core diameter, this duplex assembly provides reliable bidirectional communication between devices with LC and SC terminations. The cable supports applications that require low attenuation and controlled modal bandwidth over short to medium distances in data centres, server rooms and enterprise networks.

Advantages

This Lindy fibre optic cable combines OM3 multimode performance with duplex LC and SC connectors to deliver predictable optical characteristics and easy installation. The 50 µm core diameter and OM3 specification enable higher bandwidth and extended reach compared with lower-grade multimode fibres, while the LC connector offers a compact footprint and the SC connector provides a robust push-pull coupling. The 2.0 m length offers flexibility for common connection scenarios without excess cable slack.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting switches, transceivers and patch panels in data centres
• High-speed multimode links for server-to-switch connections
• Telecom rooms and wiring closets where LC to SC connections are required
• Short to medium distance backbone and horizontal cabling (OM3-rated)

Key specifications

• Length: 2.0 m
• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector 1: LC duplex
• Connector 2: SC duplex
• Cable mode: Duplex multimode
• Typical use: High-speed data links and patching

How to use

Identify the LC and SC ports on your equipment or patch panels and align the connectors with the corresponding ports. Insert the LC duplex connector into the LC port and the SC duplex connector into the SC port, ensuring a firm but gentle push until the connector latches. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors; maintain a minimum bend radius as recommended for OM3 multimode fibre. For best performance, keep connectors clean and free of dust by using appropriate fibre cleaning tools before mating.

Recommendations

Store and route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress. Inspect and clean connector endfaces before insertion, and use proper strain relief and cable management in racks and enclosures. Use OM3-compatible transceivers and equipment to achieve the expected multimode bandwidth and link distances.
