Lindy 20m OM3 LC - ST duplexný InfiniBand/optický kábel tyrkysový

The Lindy 20m OM3 LC - ST Duplex fibre optic cable is designed for high-speed data transmission in structured networks. With a 50 µm multimode core and OM3 specification, the cable supports full duplex communication between LC and ST terminations over a 20-metre length, making it suitable for linking active equipment, patch panels and transceivers in data centres and enterprise network racks.

Advantages

This OM3 duplex cable provides low attenuation and controlled modal bandwidth for reliable short- to medium-range links. The LC connector offers a compact footprint for modern patch panels, while the ST connector provides a robust bayonet-style coupling for legacy and industrial equipment. Durable jacket construction and precise connector polish reduce signal loss and help maintain consistent optical performance over repeated moves, adds and changes.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, transceivers and patch panels within data centres
• High-speed multimode links for enterprise LAN and campus networks
• Migration and interoperability between LC-equipped devices and ST-equipped equipment
• Short- to medium-distance backbone and horizontal cabling runs

Key specifications

• Length: 20 m
• Core diameter: 50 µm (multimode)
• OM rating: OM3
• Connector type: LC duplex to ST duplex
• Mode: Multimode, full duplex
• Typical application: Data centre and enterprise network links
• Jacket: Durable outer sheath for cable handling and routing

How to use

Route the cable following standard fibre handling practices to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress. Insert the LC duplex connector into the LC receptacle and secure the ST connector with its bayonet coupling into the ST port. Ensure connectors and ports are clean before mating to prevent contamination-related loss. Verify link status using optical diagnostic tools or the connected devices' interface indicators and test the link if required for bandwidth and attenuation performance.

Recommendations

Maintain proper bend radius and use protective booting or conduit where cables are exposed to frequent movement. Clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before installation and perform link testing after installation to confirm expected OM3 multimode performance.
