Lindy 5,0m OM3 LC - SC duplexný InfiniBand/optický kábel 5 m tyrkysový

The Lindy 5.0m OM3 LC - SC Duplex fibre optic cable is a 5-metre multimode link engineered for high-speed, low-loss data transmission in structured network environments. Featuring OM3 fibre with a 50 µm core and LC to SC duplex connectors, the cable supports full duplex operation and is suitable for short- to medium-range links in data centres, telecom rooms and campus networks. The cable’s turquoise jacket provides an industry-standard colour coding for easy identification of OM3 multimode runs.

Advantages

This Lindy fibre optic cable provides low attenuation and consistent modal bandwidth thanks to OM3 multimode construction, enabling reliable transmission for Gigabit and multi-Gigabit applications. The LC connector offers a compact footprint for high port density, while the SC connector provides robust push-pull mating suitable for rack-mounted equipment. Duplex pairing ensures simultaneous transmit and receive channels in one assembly, reducing cable clutter and simplifying installation.

Suitable for

• Short- to medium-distance multimode links in data centres and server rooms
• Connections between switches, patch panels and transceivers using LC and SC ports
• Cisco, Juniper and other network equipment requiring duplex multimode fibre
• Structured cabling backbones within enterprise and campus LANs

Key specifications

• Length: 5.0 m
• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector A: LC duplex
• Connector B: SC duplex
• Operation: Full duplex
• Jacket colour: Turquoise

How to use

Identify the appropriate LC and SC ports on your equipment and line up the connectors to the correct orientations before insertion. Gently insert the LC and SC connectors until they click into place; avoid excessive force. Route the cable following your site’s bend-radius and cable management practices to prevent microbends or stress on the fibre. For removal, depress the connector latch and withdraw straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule or connector end face.

Recommendations

Before installation, inspect connector end faces and clean with approved fibre cleaning tools if contamination is present. Maintain a minimum bend radius as specified by multimode fibre guidelines, avoid sharp bends and excessive tensile forces, and use labelled patch panels or ties to keep duplex pairs together for correct transmit/receive alignment.
