Nástenná zásuvka ACT 2-násobná nechránená CAT5E — 59×29,5×61 mm

Surface mounted box ACT 2-port unshielded CAT5E — 59×29.5×61 mm is a compact plastic enclosure designed to house and protect two unshielded CAT5E RJ45 keystone jacks. It provides a discreet wall-mounted solution for terminating horizontal cabling in small network installations, apartments, offices or meeting rooms where a low-profile, surface-mounted patch point is required. The housing accommodates two network ports and supports standard CAT5E patching and connection practices while keeping terminations accessible and protected from accidental contact.

Advantages

The enclosure is compact and lightweight, simplifying installation in confined spaces or on narrow mounting surfaces. Its design allows for both horizontal and vertical orientation, giving flexibility for varied cable routing and faceplate alignment. The plastic material offers electrical insulation and reduces installation complexity compared with metal boxes, while the molded internal layout secures keystone jacks reliably. Rounded exterior dimensions keep the unit unobtrusive on walls and behind furniture.

Suitable for

• Residential network outlets for apartments and houses
• Office workstations and small meeting rooms
• Small switch-to-client patch points in light commercial installations
• Temporary or retrofit cabling where flush mounting is not possible

Key specifications

• Capacity: 2 unshielded CAT5E keystone ports (RJ45)
• Material: durable plastic with insulating properties
• External dimensions: 59 × 29.5 × 61 mm (width × depth × height)
• Mounting: surface mount, supports horizontal or vertical orientation
• Finish: neutral color suitable for wall installation (plastic surface)
• Access: removable cover for easy termination and maintenance

How to use

Install the surface mounted box directly onto a clean, flat surface using appropriate screws or adhesive fasteners for the substrate. Position the box in the desired horizontal or vertical orientation, then route the incoming CAT5E cable into the enclosure. Terminate each conductor to the keystone jacks following standard CAT5E color codes and wiring scheme. Snap or secure the keystone jacks into the internal openings, replace the cover, and perform continuity and network tests to verify correct termination and port functionality.

Recommendations

For reliable network performance, use quality CAT5E patch cables and test each port after installation. Avoid overbending cables at the entry point and provide strain relief where possible. Choose mounting hardware appropriate to the wall material and keep the enclosure accessible for maintenance or future upgrades.
