How to use

Mount the AXIS TD4802-E onto a compatible Axis camera mount or housing following the camera and mount manufacturer’s installation instructions. Position the hood so it provides an overhang above the camera lens and any visual indicators to shield them from precipitation and direct sunlight. Ensure fixed fasteners and seals are tightened according to recommended torque specifications and inspect the assembly after installation to confirm proper alignment and coverage.

Recommendations

For best results, pair the weather shield with Axis-compatible mounts and perform periodic inspections to remove accumulated debris or dust. When installed in areas with intense sunlight, confirm that the hood orientation optimizes shading of both the lens and any strobe or indicator lights to improve visibility and temperature regulation.
