Optický AOC kábel BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-PT-BO — SFP28 na SFP28, 25 m, mätová

Active optical cable BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-PT-BO is a 25 m SFP28-to-SFP28 AOC designed for high-speed 25G interconnects in data centres and network racks. The cable integrates transceivers at both ends to transmit multi‑mode optical signals and supports 25G applications such as Ethernet and Fibre Channel over short reaches. The compact AOC form factor and low weight (0.15 kg) simplify installation between switches, servers and storage systems while the mint-coloured jacket aids cable identification.

Advantages

The BlueOptics SFP28 AOC delivers low-latency, high-bandwidth connectivity in a single, pre‑matched assembly without the need to terminate or align separate transceivers and fibres. Its SFP28-to-SFP28 direct connection reduces space and power compared with discrete transceiver plus patch-cable combinations. The mint-coloured jacket improves visual management and the 25 m length covers common rack-to-rack and short‑span topologies.

Suitable for

• Top-of-rack and end-of-row switch connections in data centres
• Server-to-switch or server-to-storage links requiring 25G bandwidth
• High-speed fabric interconnects and short-distance aggregation links

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connectors: SFP28 to SFP28
• Supported data rate: up to 25 Gbit/s
• Fiber type: multi‑mode with integrated active transceivers
• Weight: 0.15 kg
• Jacket colour: mint

How to use

Insert each SFP28 module end into compatible SFP28 ports on switches, servers or storage devices until the latch engages. Ensure device firmware and port settings match the 25G link mode required by your network. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it with standard cable management to prevent strain on the connectors. No separate transceiver configuration is normally required beyond enabling the port and verifying link status.

Recommendations

Verify compatibility with equipment vendor documentation for SFP28 AOC modules and ensure both endpoints support 25G operation. Maintain minimum bend radius and avoid exposure to excessive heat or mechanical stress to preserve optical performance.
