Optický AOC kábel BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-ZY-BO, SFP28–SFP28, 25 m, mätová

BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-ZY-BO is an active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed rack-to-rack and intra-rack connections. The direct-attach cable uses integrated transmitter and receiver modules and a multimode fiber path to carry high-bandwidth signals over a 25 m distance. The cable has a lightweight construction and a mint-coloured jacket, making it easy to route and identify within data centre cabling bundles.

Advantages

The AOC provides electrical-to-optical conversion built into each end, which eliminates the need for separate transceivers and reduces power consumption and heat compared with long copper DAC solutions. With SFP28 interfaces on both ends it supports 25 Gbit/s link rates where supported by host equipment. The single-cable assembly simplifies installation, reduces rack congestion due to its slim profile, and its distinctive mint colour helps with rapid visual identification among patching infrastructure.

Suitable for

• High-speed server-to-switch connections within data centres
• Switch-to-switch or top-of-rack to aggregation links up to 25 m
• Storage network links and converged Ethernet/Fibre Channel paths

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connectors: SFP28 to SFP28 (male-to-male)
• Supported link rate: up to 25 Gbit/s per lane
• Optical medium: multimode fiber with integrated transmitter and receiver modules
• Weight: 0.15 kg
• Jacket colour: mint

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-ZY-BO by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your switches, servers, or other network devices while the equipment is powered per vendor guidance. Ensure ports are rated for 25G SFP28 modules and that the host firmware or driver supports AOC modules. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; secure it with appropriate cable ties or guides to maintain bend radius and prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Verify compatibility with the specific hardware platform and firmware versions prior to deployment. Use this AOC for short to mid-range multimode connections within racks or between adjacent racks and avoid exposure to high-tension pulls, extreme temperatures, or fluids. For permanent or longer-distance links consider proper testing and validation under expected load to ensure stable 25G performance.
