Optický kábel EFB Elektronik O0321.10 10 m LC ST oranžový

The EFB Elektronik O0321.10 is a 10 m OM2 multimode fibre optic patch cable with LC to ST connectors, designed for reliable full-duplex optical links. With a 50 µm core diameter and orange sheath for easy identification, this cable supports standard multimode installations in data centers, telecom racks and building backbone runs. Its connectors are factory-terminated to provide repeatable low-loss connections suitable for short to medium distance links where OM2 performance is required.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable combines multimode OM2 performance with the convenience of LC and ST connector types, delivering stable full-duplex transmission and straightforward installation. The orange jacket improves visibility in cable bundles and reduces the chance of accidental disconnection during maintenance. Durable connector housings and precise ferrule alignment minimize insertion loss and ensure consistent signal quality over repeated mating cycles.

Key specifications

• Length: 10 m
• Fibre type: Multimode OM2
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector A: LC (duplex)
• Connector B: ST
• Duplex/full-duplex support: Yes
• Jacket colour: Orange

How to use

Route the fibre cable along established cable trays or tie points avoiding sharp bends and mechanical stress; observe minimum bend radius for multimode fibre to prevent increased attenuation. Clean connector endfaces before mating using appropriate fibre cleaning tools to maintain low insertion loss. Insert the LC duplex connector and the ST connector into corresponding ports on the devices or patch panels, ensuring secure latching. Verify link status and perform optical power or continuity checks if needed.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dry, dust-free environment; avoid pulling the cable by the connector body and keep bend radius greater than the manufacturer-recommended minimum. Use dust caps when connectors are not in use and perform periodic cleaning and inspection in high-density installations to maintain consistent optical performance.
