Predlžovací Ethernet kábel Renkforce 1464710 RJ45 Cat 5e, 3 m, čierny

The Renkforce Ethernet extension cable RJ45 Cat 5e (3 m, black) is a straightforward solution for lengthening an existing network connection without changing cabling or devices. This 3‑metre Cat 5e patch cable uses standard RJ45 connectors and preserves the Cat 5e electrical characteristics required for Fast Ethernet and, where supported by connected equipment, Gigabit speeds over short runs. Its black sheath and flexible construction suit residential, office and AV installations where a discreet, reliable extension is needed.

Advantages

The cable provides a simple, plug‑and‑play method to extend an RJ45 link while maintaining Cat 5e performance parameters such as 100 MHz bandwidth and proper impedance matching. Its 3 m length offers reach without excessive slack, and the standardized RJ45 connectors ensure compatibility with routers, switches, network cards, media players and other devices with Ethernet ports. The black outer jacket is low‑profile for visible runs and blends with most existing installations.

Suitable for

• Extending an existing Ethernet connection between devices
• Connecting routers, switches and networked PCs where an extra cable length is needed
• Home and small office networking setups
• AV systems and streaming devices requiring wired network access

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 5e
• Connector type: RJ45 male to RJ45 male
• Length: 3 metres
• Colour: Black
• Suitable bandwidth: up to 100 MHz (Cat 5e specification)
• Applications: Fast Ethernet and Gigabit‑compatible connections depending on equipment

How to use

To extend an Ethernet link, insert one RJ45 connector of the extension cable into the free Ethernet port of the existing cable, switch or router and the other connector into the target device’s Ethernet port. The cable is plug‑and‑play; most devices will recognize the connection automatically. Ensure connectors are fully seated and avoid sharp bends near the plugs to maintain signal integrity. For stable Gigabit links, minimize overall cable length and avoid running the cable near sources of strong electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

Use this Cat 5e extension for short to medium runs where retaining Cat 5e performance is sufficient. For longer runs, higher interference environments or assured multi‑gigabit performance, consider using Cat 6 or higher category cables and verify device capabilities.
